AirRobot at DSEi 2007 in London

The German Army and General Dynamics presented AirRobot micro UAV´s between 11th and 15th September 2007.

The DSEi is deemed to be the largest international exhibition for defence technology. It takes place every two years and acts as a platform for exhibitors and visitors with a professional interest.

The AirRobot micro UAV called a lot of attention in particular at the booth of the German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr).

The Bundeswehr uses a larger quantity of the AirRobot (also called: MIKADO) for reconnaissance in urban, unknown areas.



General Dynamics showed an integrated solution for vehicles. The AirRobot flying unit was steered with an integrated base station from inside an armoured vehicle by digital command uplink.
